Sanj Foundation is currently working in Union Council No. 8 (UC-8), District Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Before starting any development project in UC-8, Sanj Foundation had surveyed all UC and then developed a social map to understand whole area. Social map also help to locate areas of development.

Sanj Foundation had asked prominent community members to participate in development of social map to make it accurate and to ensure community participation in development process.

| Meeting held for Social Map Development |
Meeting was held at Sanj Foundation's office. Many prominent community members were present in meeting along side Sanj Foundation members. Executive Director, Sanj Foundation, Raja Shahzad Anwar chaired the meeting.

Social Map was drawn on ground to understand it better before the drawing was transferred on chart. Community was actively participating and was giving suggestions to develop a accurate map. Executive Director was listening to all members and finally Sanj Foundation was able to draw a Social Map for UC-8.
